Groundbreaking 'sonic movie' The Minister of Chance, starring Julian Wadham and Lauren Crace, completed its five episode run earlier this year to great acclaim. The audio original is still available to download free at the Ministry website.
However, the story doesn't stop there, for the ambitious folks at Radio Static have now embarked on a campaign to fund a movie version of the story. They need £30,000 by September to make the first segment of the film. It's a tall order, but it's achievable. The crowdfunding scheme has a variety of perks for donations from £15 and upwards, from the chance to appear as an extra in the film, to special website privileges, to merchandise, to direct funding of costumes and props which will then be your own property once filming is complete.
The movie version of The Minister of Chance will see the core members of the cast return, including Julian Wadham as the Minister of Chance, Lauren Crace as his companion Kitty, Sylvester McCoy as the Witch Prime and Paul McGann as Durian. If Radio Static achieve the funding they need to go into full production, this should be something special.
